Structural Warranty
This warranty only applies under normal conditions and proper use of ICI product. This warranty does not apply if the Product has been damaged in an accident, abuse, misuse or improper use of winch, overloading, modifications or improper installation. All Magnum RT Steps by ICI have a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the structure beginning on the original purchase date. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser and protects against any structural manufacturer defects. Magnum RT Steps structural warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product or component. Repair or replacement is at the sole discretion of Innovative Creations, Inc.
Finish/Coating Warranty (Black RT Steps)
Magnum RT Steps, by ICI, have a powder coat finish that comes with a one-year warranty from the original purchase date. Chips or damage from stones or impacts of any kind is not covered by the finish warranty. This Coating Warranty does not apply if the steps have been installed improperly where the steps are rubbing any part of truck (i.e. grille, fenders, head lights, etc.), the vibrations will cause coating failure. Fading or discoloration due to normal UV exposure is not covered under this warranty.
Finish/Coating Warranty (Stainless Steel RT)
ICI Stainless Steel RT Steps have a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the Stainless-Steel finish against rusting.
This warranty only applies under normal conditions and proper use and maintenance of ICI product. This warranty does not apply if the Product has been damaged in an accident, abuse, misuse or improper use, Surface contamination or rust do to improper maintenance is not covered by warranty.
Care and Maintenance
Because of the abuse that the steps receive during normal use, it is very important to care for and maintain this product on a regular basis. Clean and protect your new steps at least two times per month. In regions where salt or chemicals are used to keep roads clear of snow and ice, it is recommended you do this on a weekly basis to avoid rust. Make sure that your steps are completely dry after cleaning. Do not let water stand on the surface of the steps to avoid discoloring and water spots. Inspect your steps regularly for chips and damage from rocks and other road debris. Steps are in high debris impact areas and will incur chips and damage periodically. It is very important maintain the finish and touch up any exposed steel. This prevents the steel from rusting under the powder coat and the finish from peeling away from the steps.
The above also applies to Stainless Steel Steps, but it is important to periodically polish your Stainless-Steel RT step with a good Stainless-Steel polish to keep your steps looking great for years to come.
Warranty Claims
All warranty claims should begin with an email to our customer service department at Info@royaltruckaccessories.com. Photographs of the potential warranty must be sent with a brief description of the problem. Original proof of purchase receipt, and date Product must be registered on ICI Registration form to insure original ownership. The Authorized Magnum dealer must be included in this warranty claim. You will be contacted by our customer service department in a reasonable amount of time to review your claim and discover any additional information. It is ICI sole discretion to determine if the Product shall be replaced or repaired. All Product warranties or repairs from ICI do not include the freight or shipping in any way. Freight will be the responsibility of the customer. Labor is never included in any warranty claim.
